I’m an extroverted introvert who loves meeting friends for brunch (well, pre-COVID at least!) and enjoys the occasional quiet moment with a good book and a cup of strong coffee or herbal tea.
The joke-of-the-day letter board in my office is guaranteed to bring smiles and just possibly some groans. Similar to Dad jokes , but now they’re “Mom jokes”!
After completing my undergrad at UBC in Vancouver, I moved to Calgary for my graduate studies before becoming a Registered Psychologist in Alberta. My research has been published in several peer-reviewed medical journals. I’ve had the pleasure of working at Alberta Children’s Hospital, a major school board in Calgary, and several not-for-profit agencies.
I founded my boutique private practice in 2007 to specialize with kids and teens. I work with families who are looking to understand their children at a deeper level and wanting to learn new tools to help them grow into healthy, happy young adults. It’s always a privilege to become a trusted member of a family’s team.
